Sip Caller: Professional SIP Calling Software Built for Business

Outbound calling is where most businesses still lose agent time. Teams dial manually, leave voicemails that never get listened to, chase lists that are out of date, and report on outcomes from a spreadsheet. Sip Caller solves that by running as a cloud outbound dialer on top of the phone system a business already owns, no PBX migration required.

4TFront distributes Sip Caller in Malta and joined the vendor in Prato earlier this year for an in-person demo and information session, written up in our recap of the Sip Caller and 3CX session.

4TFront is the authorised Sip Caller distributor in Malta and advises on dialer deployments for sales teams, contact centres, collections operations and customer-care departments.

What Sip Caller Actually Is

Sip Caller is a cloud-based outbound calling platform that registers on an existing PBX as a remote extension over standard SIP and RTP protocols. It does not replace a phone system, it sits alongside one and automates the outbound side of the business.

The platform supports three dialing modes in one console:

Campaigns are built in a visual call flow designer with ready-made templates for appointment reminders, surveys, debt collection and lead qualification. Text-to-speech via Google Cloud handles variable content per call, so a single template can greet thousands of customers by name.

Why It Matters for Phone System Owners

The clearest measure of a dialer’s value is the ratio of agent talk time to total shift time. Manual dialing typically leaves an agent on the phone with a real customer for 15 to 20 minutes of every working hour. A properly tuned predictive dialer can push that figure past 45 minutes per hour.

Answering Machine Detection is the feature that makes this possible. Real-time speech analysis decides whether the call has been picked up by a human or a voicemail, and routes accordingly, agents are never connected to a machine, and machines get a timed voicemail drop instead of an agent monologue.

For businesses running a PBX like 3CX, this all happens without touching the existing phone system. The 3CX admin does not change, the trunks do not change, the caller ID does not change. Sip Caller is simply another extension, just one that can place 256 calls simultaneously and report on every outcome.

How Sip Caller Integrates With 3CX

Sip Caller works with 3CX as a cloud remote extension. It registers over SIP and RTP, uses the trunks the business already pays for, and places calls with the business’s own caller ID. Nothing about the end-user’s day-to-day 3CX experience changes.

Predictive dialing on self-hosted 3CX uses a lightweight Sip Caller Proxy module. Hosted 3CX customers need nothing installed on their side at all, the integration is entirely cloud-to-cloud.

The same model works for FreePBX, Asterisk and Yeastar systems, and any PBX that supports standard SIP.

Who Benefits Most

Sip Caller is a natural fit for three types of teams:

Sales and lead qualification teams moving from manual dialing to a predictive workflow typically see conversation volume double or triple inside a month, without hiring more agents. The platform’s risk comes from calling *more* than the agents can handle, which is why the automatic optimisation loop matters, it learns from previous campaigns and tunes pacing accordingly.

Collections and customer-care operations benefit most from progressive dialing, where the customer experience is protected and agents are ready for the conversation before the line connects. The call flow designer makes it easy to play a compliance disclosure before the agent joins.

Appointment-reminder and survey programmes map cleanly to power dialing. A pre-recorded or TTS-generated message plays, the customer presses 1 to confirm, and the outcome is logged automatically. No agent time is consumed at all.

Reporting, Security and Team Controls

Every call flows into a live dashboard with call-by-call detail, SIP status codes, DTMF inputs and transfer outcomes. Exports are available in PDF, CSV and via a public REST API for teams that want the data in a BI tool or data warehouse.

On the governance side, Sip Caller supports unlimited users across five role levels, tag-based campaign restrictions so departments only see their own work, Secure SIP (TLS) for signalling encryption, SRTP for voice encryption, and Single Sign-On via Google Workspace or Microsoft 365.

Why Local Support Matters

Dialer deployments that are configured well run quietly in the background and return a clear business ROI. Dialer deployments that are not, misconfigured campaigns, AMD thresholds set wrong, pacing that overwhelms the agent team, create frustration and often get shelved.

4TFront configures the Sip Caller extension on the 3CX or other PBX, builds the first campaigns alongside the customer, and supports both sides of the integration afterwards. As the authorised Sip Caller distributor in Malta, 4TFront also consolidates licensing, billing and support across the broader calling stack, including 3CX, Snom and Yealink endpoints.
